Reorder Point = (Daily Sales Velocity x Lead Time Days) + Safety Stock
Worked Example
Product: Organic Cotton T-Shirt (SKU: OCT-BLK-M)
- 30-day sales: 150 units
- Daily velocity: 150 / 30 = 5 units/day
- Supplier lead time: 14 days
- Safety stock: 20 units
Reorder Point = (5 x 14) + 20 = 90 units
